Faye Burr

Faye has worked within the financial services industry for over 30  both here and in the U.S.

After graduating from the University of Minnesota in 1981 with a Bachelor of Science, Faye joined Independent Marketing Services as a graduate management trainee, being promoted to Sales Manager after 1 year. Faye then in 1983 joined Paul Revere, a large US insurer, where she remained until her move to the UK in 1986. During her time at Paul Revere she won many awards and was the President of the Woman’s Life Underwriters Association of Minnesota in 1985-1986.

Faye joined National Mutual in 1987 at its Croydon office as the Branch Manager, and gained qualifications as a Pensioneer Trustee, a highly specialist position within the pensions arena. She also had articles published in Money Marketing a trade journal.

In 1999, Faye joined Intelligent Pensions one of the countries leading Independent Financial advisers in the area of pensions, gaining qualifications in pensions, G60 and K20 Retirement options.

When the opportunity arose to buy into a successful IFA practice Faye left Intelligent Pensions and joined GSI in June 2001. Since joining GSI Faye has gained her Diploma in Financial Planning, she is also as elected member of the Society of Will Writers.
